Hybrid Work from home – Manchester – Education Recruitment
This is a position for an education recruitment consultant to join a growing teacher supply agency
The role involves supplying teachers to schools, this position will be permanent or long-term bookings
Due to the nature of your work, there is no requirement to do early starts, this is something you would typically associate doing with a traditional education recruitment agency. Office hours are 9.30 – 5.30 although there may be a need to speak to a candidate later in the day depending on when they are available to talk with you
You must be somebody that is used to working from home as you will work 4 days from home and 1 day in the office near Manchester
A background in education recruitment is essential or a successful career as a recruitment perms biller (any sector)
You will be using a state-of-the-art CRM with integrated A.I, you will have a top-level LinkedIn account and access to all job boards
A dedicated team carries out resourcing, they also work out of hours to make sure you get CV’s for candidates before your competitors
Although you are working from home most of the week, the team is in constant contact through WhatsApp chat and team video calling. You will have remote support whenever you need it.
You will have a phone and a laptop provided. An internet connection is a must.

Consultants within the company are treated like adults, any KPIs are for guidance. People work in different ways so you will be allowed to work the way you feel comfortable with, with this in mind you must be somebody that can organise their work day and do the required activity to make your desk is a success.
The interview process will initially be an informal chat over Teams, if that goes well you will be invited to attend a 2nd interview which will involve a small presentation on how you would build and manage a cold desk, you will also have the opportunity to meet the rest of the team.
The salary for the role depends on your experience and ranges between £30,000 – £44,000 basic + commission.
In summary, you will be somebody keen and hungry with an in-depth knowledge of the education recruitment sector (or perm background). You must be able to work effectively from home, have great communication skills, and be able to build a desk. The desk can be Primary, Secondary, SEND, or support staff.
