Our client is looking for an experienced Education Recruitment Consultant (Senior or Consultant level) to join their South Manchester team. This is a great opportunity for a self-starter who enjoys a full 360 role, wants autonomy, and thrives in a friendly, established team.
Up to £40,000 basic + commission up to 15% + regular performance bonuses | Hybrid (3 office / 2 home) | Permanent
The role
This is a full 360 education recruitment position covering day-to-day, long-term and permanent requirements. You’ll have strong internal support (including compliance and payroll) so you can focus on building your desk and delivering a great service.
Working hours: Monday–Friday
Core office hours are 7:00am–5:30pm, with rota-based cover across: 7–4, 7.30–4.30, 8–5, 8.30–5.30.Hybrid: 3 days office / 2 days from home.
What you’ll be doing

Running and growing a full 360 education desk – temp + perm (any specialism)

Developing and managing relationships with schools and education settings

Sourcing, interviewing and placing teachers and support staff

New business development and account management

Working closely with compliance/payroll to ensure smooth onboarding

Contributing to team performance and a positive, collaborative culture

(Senior level) Mentoring/supporting other consultants and helping drive standards
What we’re looking for

Proven education recruitment experience (essential)

Ideally, experience mentoring or supporting others

A self-starter with strong self-discipline and organisation

Naturally collaborative, supportive and team-focused

Confident communicator with strong relationship-building skills

Happy to provide excellent references and complete a DBS check
