Education Recruitment Consultant – Bristol

Our client is a successful and established teacher recruitment agency based in Bristol. They are looking for an experienced Education Recruitment Consultant to join their friendly, supportive team.

You will be supplying Teachers and Support Staff to schools across SEND, Secondary or Primary, depending on your experience and desk focus.

This is a great opportunity to join a business with a strong local reputation, a positive team culture and excellent support from an experienced Branch Manager with over 10 years’ experience in education recruitment.

The Role

This is a full 360° recruitment role, involving:

• Recruiting, interviewing and vetting Teachers and Support Staff
• Advertising for new candidates
• Contacting schools regarding day-to-day and long-term supply needs
• Developing existing school relationships
• Promoting your services to new schools via calls, email campaigns and face-to-face visits
• Ensuring candidates are fully compliant, reference checked and suitable for placement
• Matching Teachers and Support Staff to appropriate schools and assignments

A key part of the role will be getting to know your candidates properly, ensuring you understand their experience, preferences and personality so they are placed into schools where they can thrive.

You will be supported by the Branch Manager and a friendly team around you. The office has a collaborative feel, with consultants working together and supporting each other.

What We’re Looking For

Applicants must have previous education recruitment experience.

You should be:

• Experienced in a 360 recruitment role
• Confident working with schools and education candidates
• Strong at business development and account management
• Organised, resilient and target-driven
• Comfortable managing compliance and candidate vetting
• A team player with a positive, professional approach
