Education Recruitment Consultant – Swansea

This position is for an education recruitment consultant to join and freshly established education recruitment agency in Swansea.

The branch in Swansea is new however the manager has over 12 years of education recruitment experience and a wealth of knowledge within the education recruitment sector

This is a very exciting opportunity for somebody to join a branch that you can grow, develop and advance your career with.

The Branch manager is looking for a “right-hand person”, somebody that will support them, help build the business, develop and train new staff and act as an assistant manager running the branch in their absence.

The branch purposely has a non-corporate ethos and feel, consultants will be given a lot of freedom and autonomy to run with their creative ideas, the role requires somebody that isn’t scared to try new things however still be able to do the things that will generate business and attract teachers.

Although Swansea branch is new the agency has been established for over 15 years and has many other branches across the UK and abroad. This is one of the largest independent recruitment agencies in the UK.

This would be a perfect position for somebody wanting to move out of a corporate or micromanaged environment, you will be involved and have input in creating a foundation on which the branch is being built whilst having career opportunities as the branch grows.

You will have the option of supplying Teachers into Primary, Secondary or SEND schools and establishments in a defined geographical area, this depends on your knowledge and what desk you would feel most comfortable running.

For those wanting to progress into management or run a team, milestones will be put in place so once you’re hitting a certain number of days or generate an agreed amount of weekly GP you will have the opportunity to recruit a new member of staff allowing you to hand pick and build a team around you.

Managers within this agency have flexibility in terms of what the can pay new people coming into the business, along with offering more flexible working hours, commission etc, as a recruiter you will be given and encouraged to negotiate a very good package.
