Healthcare recruitment consultant supplying nurses and healthcare support workers based in London.

This position is a new division for a social care recruitment agency that has recently acquired a healthcare agency

All supply in on framework to the NHS and private sector

The types of establishments that you will be placing your candidates will be Nursing homes, Private Hospitals, Mental health units, and other places where qualified nurses will be used with a mix of long-term and ad hoc supply.

The agency is on several large PSL and Vendor frameworks so somebody that is used to working in a quick-paced recruitment environment would be ideal.

It’s a growing office of 10 recruiters and several very experienced managers and a full compliance administration team meaning you can focus on your desk rather than chasing times sheets or compliance-related issues.

This is a great time to join this division as there is massive investment for additional headcount meaning more team leaders and managers will be required as the business grows, each person will have a dedicated career path to follow and work towards.

The managers in the business who have a wealth of healthcare experience are there to support, train, develop and guide you along your career path.

There are no KPIs or sales targets there will be some guidelines on how to structure your day initially then it will be down to yourself and how you feel your desk needs the most attention, regular 121 will ensure that you are on the right path.

This is an agency with a track record of retaining staff, each recruiter will have an individual career path to follow and is invested in with training, development, promotions, and pay rises.

As a conscientious employer great thought is given to a healthy work/home balance, expectations are realistic and achievable. They have created a relaxed team environment which would be a refreshing change for anybody that has worked in a high-pressure sales environment.

Once you have been in been in the business a while had training, and are comfortable with the systems and intricacies of how the business runs you will have the option of working flexible working so a part of your week can be worked from home if you desire.

You will have a warm desk to work with a competent compliance and admin team for support.

Hours of work are Monday to Thursday 8.30 – 5.30. Fridays 8.30 – 5.00. There is no expectation to work later than your normal working hours.

The basic salary is up to £45,000 basic with commission starting at 15% and going up to 25% with no threshold.

The interview process is with be an initial phone conversation and if that goes well followed by a face-to-face with the owner who can go to a location that is easiest for you. A decision will be made promptly and the start date flexible.
