Primary Education Recruitment Consultant – Newcastle

This opportunity is for an experienced education recruitment Consultant to join an agency based in Newcastle and take over a warm primary desk currently on 125 days a week.

The reason the desk has become available is that the current consultant is moving into a career outside of recruitment so there will be a clean handover and no threat of the person looking to take the business to their next employer.

The initial desk handover allows you to spend time getting to know your schools and candidates.

You will be joining a team of 5 which also has compliance and admin people to help you. There is a good mix of ages with male and female people in the team.

This a very unique agency the owner is from a teaching background and has connections across the whole of the UK. Profits from the business are reinvested back into the business.

The agency is growing rapidly and there is plenty of room for progression, as it stands if you have the right experience you could go in as a team leader or manager

This is a non micromanaged agency, their recruiters are encouraged to be creative and innovative in terms of attracting new teachers or running events for schools that can feature in local press advertisements which will reflect positively on the agency and yourself.

The ethos of the agency is to build long-standing relationships with schools, local councils/  authorities, teachers, and the local community.

This would be an ideal environment for somebody that doesn’t need to use hard sales to win business, somebody that is genuine, caring, and passionate about the job they do.

You will have a full resourcing and compliance team helping you attract the best Teachers and support staff across the Northeast.

The Primary desk is very warm generating a decent amount of commission which would be transferred after your first month, as it stands that is about £750 a month.

The company offers a very competitive basic salary starting initially from £30,000 – £42,000 depending on experience.

The hours are 7.30 – 4.30 during term time and 9 – 2 during the school holidays.
