Hybrid Recruitment – Senior Consultant – Basic £47,000+ Manchester

This is a role for a Senior recruiter for an established agency based in Manchester, specifically targeting the education sector of recruitment supplying teachers and lectures

This is a hybrid role with 2 days in the week working from home and 3 days in the office. The office hours are 8.30 -5.00

The current office is located in the centre of Manchester, there is a planned office move in July 2025.

The new office is bespoke built and will be able to house a greater number of employees. There is an on-site FREE gym and the office will be based in the city center.

Although the role is at Senior Consultant level, the role has scope to develop into a management position should this be a route you are keen to pursue.

The role involves placing further education (F.E) candidates into long-term, and permanent positions across Yorkshire, this will be to colleges, Universities, and further education establishments.

Straight away you will have 3 big PSl clients to work on. Between them, they have given over 100+ roles to work on, so there is plenty to do.

Initially, your main focus will be to resource candidates for the roles you have. There will also be opportunities to do business development with other education establishments outside the PSL clients you currently have.

Yorkshire will be your area alone, you will also have a dedicated Business development manager helping you win new clients and get a foothold on other PLS’s

Your area has amazing potential and has the 3 largest PSLs in the company, this does, however, require some development which the senior branch manager will help you with.

There are in total 11 recruiters in the branch along with administrators and compliance.

You will be using a brand-new CRM system which is one of the best on the market, DBRs are automatically applied along with references which cuts down drastically on your admin, it is a system designed to help you work more efficiently

• Office hours are 8.30 – 5.00 NO early starts or lates
• Commission is generous and uncapped going up to 30% with 10% paid on any perm placements
• The salary for this role is negotiable depending on your experience, they are in a position to offer an immediate increase on your current package

Recruiters will be considered from any previous recruitment background, however, somebody from education recruitment will be prioritised.
