Our client is offering a genuinely rare opportunity for an experienced Education Recruitment Consultant to join an established education recruitment business and help launch a brand-new long-term supply division.

Fully remote roles in education recruitment are hard to come by, particularly within established businesses. This is an opportunity to join a respected, relationship-led company and play a central role in building something new, with the flexibility of working entirely from home.

The Opportunity

Our client has already built a strong reputation within education recruitment through permanent hiring and is now looking to expand into long-term supply. They are seeking a recruiter who can take ownership of this new area and help shape it from the ground up.

This is not a cold desk. There is already a bank of teachers available, giving you a strong starting point and the chance to generate activity quickly. The desk can focus on placing teachers and/or support staff into schools and education settings across the UK.

This role would suit someone from a Primary, Secondary, SEND or Education Support background who has at least one year’s experience in education recruitment and can demonstrate that they have successfully built and developed a desk within that time.

Even more unusually, during the school holidays you are only required to work 4 hours per day, and you can choose which 4 hours you want to do. For recruiters who value flexibility and work-life balance, this is a major selling point.

Working Environment and Support

This role will suit someone who is self-motivated, trustworthy and driven — someone who enjoys autonomy and does not need to be micromanaged.

You will need a suitable space at home where you can work professionally and without distraction. In return, our client will provide everything you need to succeed, including a mobile phone, laptop and access to a brand-new CRM, giving you a modern, well-supported platform from which to build.

The Role

  • Launch and grow a new long-term supply division within education recruitment

  • Place teachers and/or support staff into schools and education settings across the UK

  • Build strong relationships with clients and candidates

  • Use an existing bank of teachers to generate early momentum

  • Develop the desk strategically over time

  • Deliver a high-quality, relationship-led service

What We Are Looking For

  • A minimum of 1 year’s experience within education recruitment

  • A successful track record of building and developing a desk

  • A background in Primary, Secondary, SEND or Education Support recruitment

  • A self-motivated, reliable and driven approach

  • The ability to work remotely in a focused and professional way

  • A genuine interest in helping grow a new long-term supply offering

Salary and Benefits

In return, our client is offering a basic salary of up to £40,000, alongside commission which is uncapped and a termly performance-related bonus of up to £18,000 per year.

The benefits package is especially attractive and includes:
