Education Recruitment Consultant – Guildford

This position is for an Education Recruitment Consultant to join a successful and established Teacher supply agency that is opening up a new office in Guildford, Surrey.

This a new and exciting branch opening for an agency that is already established throughout the rest of the UK and overseas. This is a company that likes to build roles around people. It was a matter of waiting for the perfect Branch Manager to come along for them to consider opening in Guildford, that has now happened so it’s now full steam ahead.

An additional experienced Education Recruitment has joined the Branch Manager and the search is now on for a third experienced and proved Recruitment Consultant to join the business. The office has been handpicked and is close to good transport links and foot traffic making it easy for candidates to come in and register.

This would be an ideal opportunity for somebody wanting to step away from a traditional, corporate and target driven agency. You will have a great deal of input into how the branch is shaped, as more people come on board, there will be opportunities to train and develop staff and progress your own career path.

This is a full 360 ° role and will focus on either a Secondary, Primary or SEND desk. Current compliance within the company is excellent.

This role is both Client and Candidate focused which involves recruiting Teachers and Support Staff, contacting schools for their day to day and long term supply needs, developing existing business with user schools and promoting your services to new schools through phone calls, mailshots and face to face visits.

The commission structure is financially very good and one of the highest in the industry going up to 25%. If you are currently receiving commission, guarantees can be put in place for your first 6 – 12 months. An attractive basic salary exceeding your current one will also be offered with milestones to increase it once you are producing a pre-agreed number of days a week. There is also no threshold to hit to earn commission in your 1st year meaning you can earn commission from day 1.
