Director for Growth and Partnerships – Managed Service Partnerships (MSP)

Salary: Up to £65,000 basic with an OTE of £85,000 – £95,000 in Year 1 (dependent on MSP experience)
Location: Fully remote or hybrid working out of any UK office, with monthly HQ meetings
Reporting to: Commercial Director – MSP Division
Position: Senior Leadership Management Team (SLMT)

The Role

This is a senior appointment within a specialist education recruitment agency, reporting into the Commercial Director for the MSP division. You will be part of the Senior Leadership Management Team, with responsibility for developing and growing Managed Service Partnerships across a wide geographical area, focusing on trusts local to your knowledge and relationships.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced education recruiter seeking progression into a senior leadership role while drawing on their knowledge of MSP services. The role offers full flexibility and autonomy — you’ll be trusted to manage your own workload and working hours without micro-management.

About the Company

This organisation has developed a strong reputation in education recruitment and works closely with Multi-Academy Trusts (MATs) to deliver tailored recruitment and training solutions. By understanding the unique needs of each trust, they provide access to skilled professionals across both supply and permanent roles, helping schools raise standards and improve outcomes.

They operate with a dedicated division focused purely on MSPs, separate from day-to-day teacher supply. This ensures schools and trusts benefit from a specialist service with long-term impact.

The company is also CPD-accredited and works alongside exam boards to provide certificated training, reflecting their commitment to professional standards. As part of a larger recruitment group, they can draw on extensive resources, networks, and expertise. Staff are treated as individuals, supported in their career progression, and given the freedom to work with autonomy in a professional, financially rewarding environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and manage relationships with trusts and implement Managed Service Agreements

  • Arrange and deliver presentations showcasing the MSP model

  • Write and send well-structured communications to prospective clients

  • Collaborate with regional managers to develop strategies and leverage existing relationships

  • Conduct regular visits to strengthen partnerships and secure contracts

  • Work with the Commercial Director on high-level negotiations and agreements

  • Manage workload independently using the agency’s CRM, laptop, phone, and presentation materials

Requirements

  • Extensive knowledge of the education recruitment sector

  • Experience working with or providing MSP services

  • Ability to build credibility and trust at senior level

  • Self-motivated, professional, and highly organised

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills

  • Commercially astute, resilient, and able to manage a long-term sales cycle

What’s on Offer

  • Senior leadership role with autonomy, flexibility, and strong earning potential

  • Fully remote or hybrid working with flexible hours – manage your day like your own business

  • Career progression opportunities within a supportive and professional environment

  • Laptop, phone, CRM, and presentation materials provided

  • Financially rewarding structure with uncapped potential

  • Access to CPD-accredited training and exam board certificated programmes

  • Support from an experienced Commercial Director and access to group resources

  • Part of a larger recruitment group with deep resources and industry recognition

  • Monthly HQ meetings to align strategy and share best practice

  • A company that treats you like a grown-up — professional, trusted, and not micro-managed

This role requires organisation, polish, and the ability to engage confidently with senior decision-makers within the education sector. It is also an opportunity to join a respected, supportive company where your career can genuinely progress, your work is valued, and your success will be financially rewarded.
