Billing Branch Manager – Education Recruitment (Kent)

Up to £50,000 + Commission Kent Mon–Thu 7:00–4:30 · Fri 7:00–3:00 · Weds 

An exciting opportunity for an experienced Recruitment Manager to lead a growing branch in Kent. You’ll manage and develop a team while billing on your own desk across Primary, Secondary and SEND. This is a strategic, hands-on role with autonomy to shape the branch, grow headcount, and implement performance-enhancing ideas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage, coach, and grow a team (currently 3, scaling to 8).
  • Lead activity across Primary, Secondary and SEND desks.
  • Run your own billing desk with no threshold for the first 6 months.
  • Drive performance, progression, and retention across the team.
  • Identify development needs and support staff with targeted coaching.
  • Foster a collaborative culture — empower consultants, avoid micromanagement.
  • Ensure safeguarding, compliance, and operational excellence across the branch.
  • Partner with senior leadership on strategy, budgets, and growth plans.

About You

  • Proven recruitment management experience with team growth track record.
  • Education recruitment background preferred, but not essential.
  • Commercially confident — able to run a profitable desk while managing branch budgets.
  • People-focused leader — develops staff and builds lasting relationships.
  • Collaborative, not a micromanager — empowers consultants to succeed.
  • Creative and driven — brings fresh ideas and puts them into practice.
