About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and commercially astute Account Director to oversee key MSP contracts and drive outstanding client service across a national education workforce provider.
This senior, client-facing position is responsible for ensuring fulfilment targets are consistently achieved, maintaining exceptional standards of communication and operational performance, and working in close collaboration with the Implementation and Fulfilment teams to ensure delivery excellence.
You’ll partner with internal teams — including Product Management, Fulfilment, and Sales — attending client meetings alongside Business Development colleagues to represent the service delivery and operational excellence that underpin the success of the MSP division.
Key Responsibilities

Lead strategic account management for multiple MSP contracts, ensuring strong relationships and service delivery excellence.

Monitor fulfilment and service performance, ensuring agreed KPIs are met or exceeded.

Work collaboratively with the Implementation and Fulfilment teams to ensure smooth service delivery and continuous improvement.

Liaise with Product and Platform teams to ensure client feedback informs system and service enhancements.

Represent the MSP function at client meetings, service reviews, and renewal discussions.

Provide clear reporting, analysis, and recommendations to senior leadership.

Maintain proactive communication and follow-up to ensure client satisfaction and retention.

Collaborate with Sales colleagues to support tenders, presentations, and client onboarding (no direct sales responsibility).
About You
You are a confident relationship-builder and strategic thinker, with a track record of leading service delivery or account management functions within recruitment, workforce, or MSP environments. You’ll combine commercial awareness with operational precision — ensuring delivery excellence and exceptional client experience.

Proven success in senior account management, client services, or operations within recruitment, MSP, or workforce management.

Experience driving high fulfilment performance and service quality.

Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence at senior stakeholder level.

Excellent follow-up, organisation, and analytical ability.

Confident interpreting data and using it to drive decision-making.

Experience within education or public sector frameworks advantageous.

Home-based, ideally located north of Birmingham, with flexibility for occasional travel (most meetings held via Teams).
