Account Manager – Education Technology
Fox Search is recruiting for an Account Manager to join a growing education technology business in Nottingham.
This is an opportunity for somebody who enjoys building strong client relationships, supporting customers and developing accounts, while working with technology designed to improve recruitment and workforce management within the education sector.
One of the biggest attractions of this position is that you’ll be working alongside an established education recruitment agency with existing relationships across schools, academies and Multi-Academy Trusts.
Rather than joining a technology business with no existing presence in education, you’ll be part of a wider organisation that already understands the sector, its recruitment challenges and the pressures schools face when managing their workforce.
The technology offering is a natural extension of the existing education recruitment services, providing schools and trusts with additional solutions to support staffing, compliance, workforce planning and recruitment expenditure.
An Established Education Recruitment Business Behind You
The associated education recruitment agency already works with schools and educational organisations across multiple regions of the UK.
Its recruitment services include:
- Primary and secondary education recruitment.
- Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
- Alternative provision and specialist education settings.
- Teachers, teaching assistants and classroom support staff.
- One-to-one tutors, mentors and intervention support.
- Temporary, long-term and permanent education recruitment.
- Recruitment support for Multi-Academy Trusts.
- Leadership and specialist education appointments.
The recruitment agency also operates on the GCA framework and has established relationships with schools and trusts.
These relationships provide opportunities to introduce additional technology solutions to organisations already familiar with the wider business.
You’ll be working alongside people who understand education recruitment, school staffing requirements and the importance of managing budgets, compliance and workforce planning.
This is more than simply managing software accounts. You’ll be helping customers make better use of technology that complements established education recruitment services.
The Education Technology Platform
The business develops specialist software designed to improve recruitment and workforce management.
Its technology includes recruitment CRM solutions and a workforce management platform, helping organisations:
- Improve visibility of staffing and recruitment activity.
- Monitor temporary staffing expenditure.
- Manage workforce compliance information.
- Track recruitment requirements and staffing performance.
- Improve workforce planning and operational efficiency.
- Reduce administrative processes.
- Manage workforce information more effectively.
These solutions can complement existing recruitment arrangements, giving schools and Multi-Academy Trusts greater oversight of their staffing requirements and expenditure.
As an Account Manager, you’ll play an important part in helping customers understand the technology, use it effectively and develop their relationship with the business.
Account Manager – Your Responsibilities
This position focuses on managing and developing customer relationships, ensuring clients receive ongoing support and get the most from the company’s technology.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing and developing relationships with existing customers.
- Supporting new customers through onboarding and implementation.
- Providing product demonstrations, guidance and training.
- Helping customers understand and make effective use of the technology.
- Maintaining regular communication with customers to understand their requirements.
- Identifying opportunities to develop existing accounts and introduce additional products or services.
- Working alongside the wider education recruitment business to explore opportunities within existing school relationships.
- Supporting customer retention and long-term account development.
- Resolving customer queries and coordinating with internal teams where required.
- Maintaining accurate customer records and account information.
- Helping deliver a positive customer experience throughout the relationship.
What Experience Are We Looking For?
We’re interested in speaking with individuals who have experience in account management, customer success, recruitment account management or another client-facing commercial role.
You should enjoy building relationships, understanding customer requirements and helping clients get the best possible results from the services or products they use.
Relevant experience could include:
- Account management or client relationship management.
- Customer success or customer support within a commercial environment.
- Education recruitment or recruitment account management.
- Software or SaaS account management.
- Customer onboarding, training or implementation support.
- Developing existing accounts and identifying additional opportunities.
- Working with schools, academies or education organisations.
Previous experience working with software or SaaS products would be advantageous, although candidates with transferable account management experience are also encouraged to apply.
An understanding of education recruitment, school staffing or Multi-Academy Trusts could be particularly useful.
