We are recruiting for an experienced Education Recruitment Consultant to build and grow a teacher supply desk across the Southampton and South Coast education market.

This is a fully remote education recruitment role for someone with experience supplying teachers, teaching assistants, SEND staff or school support staff into education settings.

The role would suit an experienced education recruiter who wants more autonomy, less office-based restriction and the chance to develop a market with the backing of an established education-sector business.

The Role

As an Education Recruitment Consultant, you will be responsible for developing school relationships and supplying education staff across Primary, Secondary or SEND.

You can focus on:

• Primary teacher supply
• Secondary teacher supply
• SEND recruitment
• Teaching assistants
• School support staff
• Day-to-day supply
• Long-term supply
• Permanent education recruitment

Key Responsibilities

• Build and develop relationships with schools, academies and multi-academy trusts
• Supply teachers, teaching assistants and SEND staff into schools
• Generate new business across Southampton and surrounding areas
• Register, interview and manage education candidates
• Build a strong candidate pipeline
• Manage bookings, compliance and placements
• Grow a profitable education recruitment desk remotely
• Work with an education-focused business that understands schools, teachers and learning support

About You

You will need previous experience in education recruitment, ideally supplying teachers, teaching assistants or SEND staff into schools.

You should be confident with:

• Business development
• School account management
• Candidate attraction
• Compliance-led recruitment
• Building a desk remotely
• Managing your own market
