Senior Recruitment Consultant – Further Education – Southampton

Our client is an established, multi-sector recruitment business with a strong reputation across the public sector, now launching a brand-new Southampton office.

As part of this growth, they are building out a dedicated Further Education desk, offering a fantastic opportunity for an experienced education recruiter to join at day one and play a key role in shaping its success.

💼 The Role

As a Senior Recruitment Consultant, you will:

• Build and develop a Further Education desk
• Work closely with the Branch Manager as part of the founding team
• Recruit across colleges and universities, including client visits
• Leverage existing frameworks and PSL agreements across the public sector
• Manage the full 360 recruitment lifecycle with autonomy
• Contribute to the growth of the new Southampton office

🎯 What We’re Looking For

• Background in education recruitment (Primary, Secondary, SEND or TA supply)
• Experience running a desk and billing consistently
• Strong client relationship and business development skills
• Someone who enjoys autonomy and being part of a growing team

💰 What’s On Offer

• Salary: £45,000 Negotiable depending on experience (immediate uplift available)
• Commission: Uncapped up to 30% + 10% on permanent placements
• Hybrid working: 2 days from home each week
• Hours: 8:30am – 5:00pm (no early starts or late finishes)
