Recruitment Compliance & Resource Consultant – Education Recruitment

This is an opportunity to join an established education recruitment agency based in Nottingham, supporting a busy Secondary team that continues to grow.

The role sits within the delivery side of the business and focuses on candidate generation, compliance and supporting the wider team with placements. It is a key position within the office and plays an important part in keeping desks moving and schools supplied.

You will work alongside experienced consultants, helping to source and manage teachers, teaching assistants and support staff for roles across local schools. The position involves building relationships with candidates, ensuring they are fully compliant and ready to work, and supporting the team in filling bookings.

Over time, the role will develop into something more client-facing. Once established and through successful completion of probation, you will begin supporting client bookings directly, giving you a clear pathway into a full 360 recruitment position.

The environment is structured and supportive, with strong processes in place around safeguarding and compliance. The office itself is modern, and the team works closely together with a collaborative approach.

  • Source and attract candidates for education roles
  • Screen and register candidates
  • Ensure safeguarding and compliance checks are completed accurately
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with candidates
  • Keep systems and records fully up to date

  • Assist with client bookings as you develop in the role

What They’re Looking For

  • Strong attention to detail, particularly around safeguarding
  • Good communication and relationship-building skills
  • Organised and able to manage multiple priorities
  • Positive attitude and resilient approach

Salary & Benefits

  • £25,000 – £27,500 basic salary
  • Uncapped bonus linked to candidate activity
  • Typical monthly bonus around £300–£400
  • Hybrid working – 1 day from home
  • Reduced hours during school holidays
  • Early finish on Fridays
  • 31 days holiday plus bank holidays
  • Healthcare scheme
  • Subsidised parking
  • Modern office environment

Progression

This role offers a clear route into a full recruitment consultant position. You will gain a strong understanding of compliance, candidate management and how desks operate before moving into a more commercial, client-facing role.

Training & Development

You will receive structured training from day one, with ongoing support from experienced consultants and management. A clear development pathway is in place alongside continuous training to help you progress within the business.

This is a strong opportunity for someone looking to build a career within education recruitment in a structured environment, with a clear route into a full consultant position over time.
