Education Recruitment Southern Regional Director – London

This is a position for a non-billing Regional Director for a leading teacher supply agency. Applications are welcome from any sector of recruitment.

As Southern Regional Director you would be responsible for several London and Home Counties branches along with all other branches South of London. In total 8 branches with 10 direct reports.

A basic salary of up to £100,000 is on offer with on-target earnings pushing that up to  £120,000 – £150,0000 year 1. There is room for negotiation to attract the right candidate and a competitive financial package would be put together.

You must be an experienced Senior Recruitment Manager / Regional Manager used to working with and developing other managers and teams within the recruitment sector.

This is a financially sound and established agency built up over the last 20+ years, they have grown organically keeping the same company ethos of providing a quality consultative service ahead of profit.

Due to the location of the branches, there will be some travel involved allowing you to spend quality time with your managers and teams.

Duties 

• Spearheading long term drives
• Running regional competitions and encouraging Team Managers to run their own competitions
• Organising sales events
• Attending tenders and bids
• Sales training and development of staff
• Implementing constructive KPI’s and targets (not in a micro-management style)
• Be involved with staff recruitment and retention
• Implementing business development strategies
• Driving a culture of accountability, delivery & reward
• Helping Managers develop themselves and their staff
• Ensuring quality of service is at the heart of everything the teams do
• P&L, budgets and forecasting

The role does offer a great deal of autonomy but with regular correspondence with the MD
