Education Recruiter – Home / Field based – Bristol
This is a position for an Education Recruitment recruiter to join an established Teacher recruitment agency with offices based around the UK and overseas.
Due to recent acquisitions, there is an opportunity for a to take over a very warm desk on 100 – 150 days a week covering the Bristol area.
The current business is being run remotely from another branch which isn’t local to the area and can make registering teachers a little tricky.
This role is for somebody local to Bristol to take ownership of the existing business, working from home and out in the field initially with a view to get an office and build a team in the future.
You would have full support on a national award-winning agency to help you develop the Bristol business, as the business grows you will be able to bring in people under you to help develop it further with the long term plan being to open your own branch in Bristol.
This is an agency the understands the importance of customer care and gives autonomy and freedom to their staff to run their desks with plenty of support from your managers.
This is a none corporate agency, you will immediately feel less pressure, a more relaxed working ethos and the chance to engage with your schools and candidates how you want to in a natural and organic way.
This position needs somebody with drive, ambition and who can work autonomously.
You will also have the opportunity to work from other regional branches and your regional manager will also be on hand to offer support.

Your knowledge of the Bristol market will be key to how the business evolves, you will have a really good foundation on which to grow and develop your area.
You will have a healthy budget for some excellent marketing material, social media subscriptions and access to all the major job boards along with a pipeline of overseas teachers and support staff.
You will have a laptop, remote access to the company recruitment software, phone, and a full compliance team to process candidates.
The role will involve developing existing business whilst generating new business at the same time you can plan your week as appropriate and spend more time visiting schools face to face, you will have a lot of autonomy and won’t be micromanaged.
This would be an ideal position for somebody wanting more flexibility, fewer office politics and freedom for an experienced education recruiter to run their business how they want to.
As you build and add to your team you will become more involved with training and development and do regular 1 2 1s, “soft “KPI setting and monitoring, budget and fiscal forecasts.
- Basic salary up to £45,000 + commission
