Perms recruiter working from home. A full office setup will be supplied including a desk, chairs, printer laptop phone, etc.

This position is for a recruiter to join a company that promotes, and recruits candidates to help companies meet their diversity and inclusion targets

Typically, the candidates you supply may have disabilities, be from minority backgrounds or require additional support or office adjustments to meet their needs to work.

For this role, you will need to have had some permanent recruitment experience

In recent years companies have seen how important it is to have a workforce that reflects their population and although there are laws to protect against discrimination many companies didn’t actively try and have a diverse and inclusive works force until more recently.

You will be working with the private sector and public sector companies big and small many household names are already clients.

Typical sectors include:

  • Food & FMCG Manufacturing
  • Financial Services
  • Healthcare
  • Marketing
  • Management Consultancy
  • Construction
  • Energy & Utilities
  • 3rd Sector – Charities, not-for-profit

There are other aspects to the role which include:

  • Exclusive & Retained Search.
  • Talent Pooling & Pipeline Development
  • Recruitment Audits
  • Inclusive Recruitment Masterclass
  • Interview Coaching
  • Inclusive Assessment Centres
  • Inclusive Advertising & Selection

We are in an economic situation where job vacancies have out-stripped unemployed (May 2022 taken from BBC website) so it makes sense to tap into a pool of people that may have been discriminated against or ignored in the past.

You will be making an active and positive impact on a social problem; companies are now keen to get involved and are seen as doing their part.
