This is a position for an experienced Education Recruitment Consultant to join an established Teacher supply agency with offices based around the UK and overseas.

This role is a branch manager for an education recruitment agency based in an attractive location in Southampton that offers free parking and a well-designed spacious office to work from.

This is a medium-sized branch with room to add more additional experienced recruiters. You must have a sound knowledge of recruitment and have been in a position of responsibility.

If you are currently a senior consultant looking for the next step up this role offers that opportunity with training and development to lead to branch manager.

The ideal candidate will be from an education recruitment background or a similar sector such as Social/Healthcare.

You will be responsible for a team that covers Primary, Secondary, and SEND, its an established team however there is always room to improve and you will also have the headcount to add additional recruiters to your team.

The main focus of your role will be to manage, develop, and keep staff motivated along with running a small desk of your own.

This is an agency that prides itself on providing a quality service to both their teachers and to the schools they supply. They are on all the frameworks to supply teachers and support staff into schools across the Hampshire area.

During the lockdowns in 2020 and 2021, all staff have been treated extremely well, they have been furloughed with the company topping up their wages to ensure all staff still receive their full pay and also their commission

As a manager within this company, you will have clearly defined goals and target, KPI’s are only used as a guide with many of the experienced recruiters in the business not needing to use them as they can effectively manage their own desks.

You will have some excellent marketing material, social media subscriptions, and access to all the major job boards along with a pipeline of overseas teachers and support staff.

You will have a laptop, mobile, remote access to the company recruitment software, and a full compliance team to process candidates giving you more time to focus on clients rather than being bogged down with compliance issues.

This is a company that invests in its staff, they have a very low turnover and want people to come on board long term. People in the business are treated like adults and given autonomy and freedom to develop their business, you will be encouraged to run with new ideas and do something that is different from other agencies.

You will have a supportive regional manager to help guide and offer advice. As a company they want their managers to grow organically, it’s not all about making a profit they would rather continue to build on the good reputation they already have. Any targets you are set are super realistic and achievable.
