This role will be working for a market-leading software company focused on offering client schools the most secure way for remotely accessing and supporting their Education and Corporate devices, across platforms and locations.

Their software is used by more than 20 million learners worldwide to support classroom management and learner wellbeing. The role involves you and your team working with Schools in the UK that are existing clients. The products they have from you are linked to the safeguarding of children in schools such as web filtering software to block inappropriate websites.

This is an established company with over 20 years of expertise in its market with a workforce composed of a hard-working team of Sales, Account Managers, Marketing, and Tech Professionals headquartered in the UK with additional offices in the United States, Romania, UAE, The Philippines, and Denmark.

The role of Head of Account Management and their team are responsible for the handling of all existing client accounts. These accounts have the potential to make up a significant percentage of the company turnover and provide cross and upselling opportunities.

You will initially have a team of 4 to manage with an extensive client base of around 3000, you will personally handle the top 50 clients

You will Report directly to the Sales Director and be an integral link with the sales team and their divisional manager.

It is essential that applicants have experience in selling software products, this can be to businesses, schools, private organisations.

This role would suit someone who is a hands-on and driven individual, as a large part of this role will be to generate and grow business, as well as manage a team.

Part of your role will be to contact existing clients and offer other services you provide which will link to the software they already have from you.

As a school’s current contacts expire you can introduce further products that will be of benefit to them as well as offering a contract renewal.

The company markets its solutions directly and through business partners such as Google, Samsung, and Microsoft Teams to public and private clients in more than 105 countries.

Safeguarding children online is of critical importance to all schools and you will play a vital part in ensuring schools protect their pupils, all schools have a budget dedicated to this area.

Other products you can offer include classroom management, technical 24/7 online support, student well-being, and further filtering and blocking software. You can also book an online demonstration for the schools so they can see how the product works before committing.

This is a 100% work-from-home opportunity, there will be a need on occasion to spend 1/2 days a month at the company regional office in the UK, hotel (if required) and all travel expenses will be paid. A laptop, phone, and CRM will also be provided to allow you to effectively work from home.

Support will be at hand from your Sales Director who is there to offer practical support and guidance.

Hours of work are Monday to Thursday 8.00 am – 4.30 pm. Finish early Fridays 8.00 am – 3.30 pm

The salary is £50,000 – £60,000 basic (depending on relevant experience) + bonuses

Although this will be a walk-into role with everything in place to support you there will be an initial period of intense revamping with a need for forward-thinking and strategising.

The company has gone through some positive changes in the last few years by appointing the right people in key positions, although experience within the education sector is critical for this role finding the right person, with the positive qualities they are looking for is equally important.

This would be an ideal position for somebody that has worked with schools and can manage a team.
