This is a position for an Education Recruitment Manager to join an established Teacher recruitment agency looking to open a new office in Nottingham.

This role is open to current Managers within Education Recruitment or somebody at Senior Recruiter level looking for their next step up into management.

Current Senior Recruiters would be placed on a management training and development course with a view to becoming the Branch Manager when fully trained and confident to step into the role.

You will be starting a new branch so you must have plenty of drive, motivation, and determination.

This is an agency the understands the importance of customer care and gives autonomy and freedom to their managers to run their office.

They encourage Managers not to micromanage their staff rather train and develop them so they feel they are part of a team

As a none corporate agency, you will immediately feel less pressure, a more relaxed working environment and the chance to engage with your schools and candidates how you want to rather than persistently calling them to hit call targets or having to make scripted sales calls.

Nottingham has a wealth of schools using agencies with their Day to Day, Long term and permanent supply needs.

Your office will be geared to supply into Primary Schools, Secondary Schools and SEND Schools/PRU’s.

The aim is to grow the branch business organically, the agency is financially backed and secure and has been trading for 15 years +. Targets are very realistic and not all centered around making margins, establishing a good name and providing a consultative service is something they always strive towards.

To help establish the branch your regional Director will spend several days a week in the office giving practical and useful help and guidance. New startup branches can appear daunting however with the support on hand it will be an exciting experienced and project to be involved in

You will have a great deal of autonomy to run your branch allowing you to put your own stamp on it and also build a team around you as the business grows.

You will receive all the benefits of a corporate company with the added flexibility that an independent agency can offer.

Your knowledge of the Nottingham market will be key to how the business evolves from the initial choice of location, through to priority target schools, recruitment of internal staff areas where you see you can make ground on competitors.

Your branch will have a healthy budget for some excellent marketing material, social media subscriptions and access to all the major job boards along with a very healthy pipeline of overseas teachers and support staff.

As your team grows you will become more involved with training and development and do regular 1 2 1s, “soft “KPI setting and monitoring, budget and fiscal forecasts.
