This is a position to work for an established social care recruitment agency in London.

The recruitment sector is within the Social care space supplying qualified Social care candidates to clients across the Uk typically in long-term positions lasting 1 year +.

The agency is on many frameworks agreements even managing the whole recruitment process for several councils across the UK and no.1 tier supplier with several key vendor agreements.

Although this is a recruitment role the focus is 95% focused on the candidate’s side as clients are already in place on frameworks. There are very few sales aspects to the role which may be a refreshing change for a recruiter that has worked in a pressured sales environment and want a change.

This is an agency that has taken several different innovative approaches when training staff.  Initially, all members of your team will learn all aspects of the role which will involve compliance, Admin, candidate attraction, and how the various vendor management system work this will produce well-rounded consultants that can work on any task needed in the branch.

Rather than separate desks, you will work together as a branch and team striving for the same goals and targets. This creates a team bond and a team that is completely self-sufficient.

Once your team is fully trained you will have access to central compliance and admin teams should you choose to use them, this can help as you may want to focus and prioritize other aspects of your business.

Great thought has been given to how you will be financially rewarded for your hard work. Monthly bonuses are paid based on hitting soft none profit-related targets and goals based on quality and productivity, the manager/team leader will also get a team bonus.

All managers will run a small desk of key clients allowing you to lead from the front, it won’t be too large as an integral part of your job will be training and developing your consultants. You will also have the flexibility to hand over parts of your desk to your consultantS when you think they are ready.

For the new manager coming in you will have a great deal of flexibility and autonomy when building your term and will be actively encouraged to put your own stamp on the branch you manage. With that in mind, you will recruit your own staff, with the support of your regional manager. The final decision will be yours to make, this will be your team with the working environment you have instilled.

Although most of the business is on managed services you will have the flexibility to move into new areas that you have identified or you have experience or connections in so long as the core business is maintained.

if you don’t have Social care recruitment experience then full, gradual training will be on hand this is something that can be taught easily however coming from similar sectors like Healthcare or education will help due to the similarities. The key experience they are looking for is somebody that has demonstrated good people management/training and somebody that knows how master vendors and PSL’s work, the rest can be taught.
