Recruitment Director – Education / Healthcare
This is a key appointment role for an established multi-sector recruitment agency with offices in the North and South of the UK covering, Permanent HC supply, Temporary Healthcare Supply, International Healthcare supply (nurses from the USA and Canada to supply the Middle East), and Education Recruitment supplying Primary, Secondary, and SEND Teachers and Support Staff to schools
Currently, the CEO is overseeing all departments and would like to delegate responsibility and control to either somebody to oversee all 4 departments or a person to look after the Education or Healthcare verticle.
Although the CEO is involved in various other businesses he comes from a recruitment background and can relate to the everyday challenges the recruitment sector has.
The company has huge investment and as such can offer an equity-driven opportunity, they want people to feel invested in the business and be rewarded by company-wide success
This agency group works very closely with councils across the UK and offers a complete in-house recruitment service as they build care homes for councils and SEND schools this can also cover Outreach, Crisis intervention, childcare, specialist teaching, and inclusion. They have built 10 care homes/schools with a plan to get that to 20 by 2025
The salary (up to £200,0000) commission, bonuses, and equity are all up for negotiation and really would depend on your experience and track record. It is equally as important that you have the right drive and hunger for the role
Areas of reasonability will depend on your experience and will cover KPI setting, quarterly/yearly targets, budgets, staff recruitment and retention, new education or healthcare divisions in existing branches, working with councils and clusters, acting as a buffer between the staff on the ground and senior management.
This role is very adaptable and will offer a tremendous amount of flexibility and autonomy. The ideal candidate will have in-depth experience in education, Healthcare, or both, and relish the thought of taking on the responsibility which will allow the CEO to function more freely within other parts of the group business `
As a smaller agency, you won’t be restricted by red tape and corporate targets. It’s very much a people company with an ethos of rewarding and looking after every single employee. You will report directly to the CEO, you won’t be micro-managed to a large extent it will be like running your own business.
The company has peaked at around 9 million turnover with vast potential to increase this, particularly in the education recruitment part of the business with new branch openings and improving on existing business.
The interview process is very straightforward and will involve an initial Teams video call with the CEO, if that goes well a face-to-face will be arranged. A decision will be made swiftly and feedback will be passed on to you ASAP at each stage.
There is the opportunity to work out of a Manchester office or one in Berkshire.
