Managing Director – Education Recruitment
This position is for a Managing Director who will help establish a new teacher supply division for an established global education group.
The role offers up to £100,000 basic salary + comm + bonus. Work-from-home options are available however it is encouraged to be present in the office as much as possible during the initial setup phase, of course, there can be flexibility, particularly if you are not local to the head office.
This position requires a very experienced education recruitment professional used to dealing with high-level people within the education sector.
This group has extensive dealings with schools supporting them and teachers in line with the national curriculum. They have a vast database with 1000s of teachers and school contacts
In this role as the Managing Director, you will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and driving business using a technology-driven platform to supply schools.
You will have a state-of-the-art CRM platform which will be linked to schools and teachers to help organise teacher supply.
This is an in-depth dual role as you will be providing other services to schools alongside the newly developed teacher supply side which will work together in harmony.
You will be involved in all aspects of operations, including business development, client and candidate management, internal recruitment as your team grows, strategies, and team leadership. In conjunction with teacher supply, you will also play a pivotal role in driving other services to schools and teachers across England initially with a possible scope of launching this internationally.
You will be part of a dynamic team dedicated to revolutionising teacher supply recruitment, you will have something completely different to offer schools and teachers that no other teacher supply agency currently has
You will be part of a larger group that is heavily funded and self backed. This is a project that will have massive investment and support.
You will have access to a fantastic marketing team, compliance, finance, and HR. You will have existing schools and teachers who already use the other services offered by the group.
You will draw on your experience within teacher supply to develop recruitment strategies and execution to attract and retain a diverse pool of qualified supply teachers and support staff.
For this role, there is an expectation that you will have experience dealing with people at senior management level in Schools, MAT’s and educational organisations.
You must be articulate and well-presented with an endearing personality. Management skills are essential along with exceptional business development acumen.
Parts of your role will involve:
- leading the acquisition of new customers and partnerships, leveraging your industry network and market insights
- Cultivate strong relationships with schools, academies, MAT’s and educational organisations, understanding their staffing needs and providing tailored recruitment solutions.
- Personally lead on sales to large MATs across England
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with schools and educational institutions, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
- Act as a primary point of contact for key clients, addressing any concerns and ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
- Provide strong leadership to the recruitment and tech teams, fostering a collaborative and innovative work culture.
- Manage and build a strong recruitment team
- Work closely with the CEO and other associated businesses in the group.
- Present at board level with general updates, progress reports and forecasts
