You’ll oversee HR operations across the organisation, with a focus on compliance, safeguarding, and employee engagement. This is a varied role where you’ll be trusted to make a difference and play a key part in shaping the people function.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day HR operations.
- Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and safer recruitment checks.
- Keep HR records, contracts, and employee data accurate and compliant with GDPR.
- Provide advice to managers on HR and employee relations, including disciplinary, grievance, absence, and performance.
- Act as the escalation point for HR and safeguarding concerns.
- Keep policies, procedures, and employee handbooks up to date.
- Support wellbeing, staff engagement, training, and development initiatives.
- Review and improve HR processes to support business growth.
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience as an HR Manager or HR Advisor ready to step up.
- Strong knowledge of UK employment law, HR compliance, and safeguarding standards.
- Ability to manage sensitive HR issues with professionalism and discretion.
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
- Strong communication and influencing skills with stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience using HR systems and handling confidential data.
- CIPD qualification or working towards it is desirable but not essential.
