This is a rare opportunity to become an Education Recruitment Account Manager  for a specialist Teacher Recruitment agency based in Cardiff South Wales

Due to continued growth and success, you will be joining the Primary Division as an Account Manager helping to run and maintain the Primary desk.

You will be working in a friendly Primary team. You will help deal with incoming bookings, teacher registrations and organising the Primary desk, this will free up valuable time for the Primary consultants to be more active with sales and business development.

As this is an Account Management position you won’t be expected to make any sales calls however you will take bookings from existing/new clients and work with the consultants in the Primary team to help fill them.

Part of your role will be to make sure you know the availability of your Primary teachers, know which schools they are in, how long their placements are and if they have any free availability where you could potentially place them elsewhere. Over time you will get to know your candidates and the schools you supply and you will be given plenty of time to adjust and learn all aspects of the job.

Along with your basic salary, you can also earn a share in branch commission.

Skills needed for this role. 

  • An experienced person with prior recruitment experience (any sector)
  • Evidence of delivering results
  • Account management skills
  • Can work comfortably within a team or individually
  • Adaptable, organised with the ability to anticipate

This is working for an international recruitment agency with many offices across the UK and abroad, the busy Cardiff office has thrived and is seen as a “flagship” branch of the company.

All applicants must have previous Recruitment/Account management experience. This may be an ideal role for somebody that is currently working in recruitment and wants to move away from the sales side of recruitment.
