This position is for a Senior Education Recruitment Consultant to join a successful and established Teacher recruitment agency based in Cardiff South Wales.

You will be working with an established friendly team supplying Teachers and Support Staff to schools covering SEN, Secondary and Primary School supply.

You will be joining one of the most successful branches of a specialised teacher recruitment agency which has surpassed all targets year on year.

Due to the level of growth, an additional experienced Education Recruitment Consultant is needed to keep up with the demand. New people coming into the business will have a warm area and access to existing teachers on the database.

This is a full 360 ° role and will focus on the Secondary side of the business. It is both client and candidate focused and involves recruiting and advertising for Secondary Teachers, contacting Secondary schools for their day to day and long term supply needs, developing existing business with user Secondary schools and promoting your services to new Secondary schools through phone calls, mailshots and face to face visits. You will have support from the Branch Manager and Administration team.

Along with working with contacts within Secondary schools, a key part of your role as a Senior Education Recruitment Consultant will involve talking to, vetting and placing suitable Secondary Teachers into new work placements.

Each Secondary Teacher you place you will have already fully vetted. You will have made sure their compliance records are thoroughly completed, reference checked them and met them face to face so you have a clear understanding of them as a person and therefore which schools they would be suited to.

The commission structure is financially very rewarding and one of the highest in the industry going up to 25%. You can also earn additional annual leave, holidays and vouchers to add to your additional uncapped earning potential.

Due to the structure of the business and how the Branch Manager runs their branch, you will find you can work at your own pace, develop important relationships with clients and candidates naturally as you won’t be pressured into making sales calls or having to hit high targets. It will feel like you are working within a professional recruitment agency that delivers a service rather than a call centre. There is a great emphasis to provide a consultative service to schools and the teachers you work with.

The Secondary division is a key area for growth and development. As this team grows, dependant on your level of success, there could be the opportunity to work towards Secondary Team Manager where your role would then have focus on leading the team as well as developing your own business.
