Education Recruitment Branch Manager – Kent
This is a position for an Education Recruitment Manager to join an established teacher recruitment agency in Kent.
This role is open to current Managers within Education Recruitment or somebody at Senior Recruiter level as there will be an opportunity to undergo a management training programme.
This is working for one of Kent’s most established agencies, they have been supplying Schools in the local area for over 15 years and have other branches extending into all parts of the UK, Australia, Canada, New Zealand and Ireland.
There is a small team of 5 with expansion plans to take this up to 8 which as a manager you would be involved in the expansion plans.
This agency has a family feel to it, they can offer flexible working time and they are sensitive to a healthy home/work balance.
Your initial focus will be to absorb the ethos and identity of the branch. They offer a consultative approach to their schools and teachers so no hard sales or pressure calls, they have built some fantastic relationships with their schools and candidates built on a reputation of honesty and providing quality candidates.
Initially, you would come in as the Education Recruitment Branch Manager for the Kent office with two Directors above you. Over the next couple of years the Directors will be fully stepping away from the business completely offering you the chance of Directorship.
The office currently supplies into Primary Schools, Secondary Schools and SEN Schools/PRU’s. Consultants desks specialise in each discipline so they are focused and can offer a consultative approach.
The aim is to grow the branch business organically, the agency is financially backed and secure and has been trading for 15 years +.
You will have a great deal of autonomy to run your branch allowing you to put your own stamp on it and also build a team around you.
Training will be provided which will lead the path to Directorship.

Your branch will have a healthy budget for some excellent marketing material, social media subscriptions, and access to all the major job boards along with a very healthy pipe line of overseas teachers and support staff.
As your team grows you will become more involved with training and development and do regular 1 2 1s, KPI setting and monitoring, budget and fiscal forecasts.
