This position is for a compliance officer to be based remotely from home

You be working for a REC-qualified recruitment agency that supplies Teaching assistants to schools across the UK

Your role will be to make sure all compliance procedures are adhered to which include but not limited to:

  • Working alongside the recruitment manager to drive and develop the candidate process for Teaching Assistants (T.A’s)
  • Engaging with existing and new candidates to maximize retention.
  • Lead with all onboarding of new candidates.
  • Gather all documentation including identification, and DBS safeguarding.
  • Conduct online video Teams /Zoom interviews with candidates.
  • Complete a detailed checklist throughout the compliance process.
  • Complete in-house registration forms
  • Keep all compliance records updated for our temporary supply staff.
  • Implementation of weekly compliance reports
  • Having good communication with the consultants and your manager
  • Coordinating audits
  • Contact for all safeguarding issues
  • Dealing with safeguarding matters
  • Dealing with existing and new school users
  • Occasionally Attending open days and events

 

This is a new agency that is part of a group of companies with one of the companies being an established training provider. They train people to Level 2 Teaching Assistants after which you will then complete their compliance so they are ready to be placed into schools.

In the past the newly qualified T.A’s would go for free to agencies who would then place them with schools or the T.A’s would apply directly to schools so they will now be placed by the recruitment arm of the training provider.

You will either be level 3 safeguarding trained or you will have the training to get to that level via an online course.

Working hours are 9  – 5  Monday to Friday during school time. During the school holidays, you will enjoy reduced working hours 9 – 3

This role needs somebody that is organised, motivated and has experience in compliance for an education recruitment agency.

Laptop, phone access to the CRM, and all other equipment will be provided.

You will have regular catch-up sessions with your manager and as the compliance teams grow there will be room for progression and development.
