This role involves working with schools in the UK giving them the opportunity to have a software product linked to the safeguarding of children in schools.

Part of your role will be to contact LEA’s, trusts, clusters, PRU’s and schools about the products you provide. This can be from leads given to you by the lead generations team, lapsed clients, and new leads you have gotten yourself in a set geographical area.

This role is working for a company that supplies market-leading software focused on offering secure ways for remotely accessing and supporting educational devices, across platforms and locations.

This is an established company with over 20 years of expertise in its market with a workforce composed of a hard-working team of Sales, account managers, Marketing, and Tech Professionals headquartered in the UK with offices in the United States, Romania, UAE, The Philippines, and Denmark.

The company sells its solutions directly and through business partners such as Google, Samsung, and Microsoft Teams to public and private clients in more than 105 countries.

As a BDM, you will be the primary contact for new customer accounts. You will have some excellent marketing material and also offer your clients a demonstration of the software before they purchase.

You will have autonomy for creating a plan on how you target your accounts. You will build and manage your own pipeline and use the company CRM to organise your desk. You will collaborate with your regional manager, Global Sales, Marketing, Product, and Support Teams.

Safeguarding children online is of critical importance to all schools and you will play a vital part in ensuring schools protect their pupils, all schools have a budget dedicated to this area.

Other areas of support you can offer cover “classroom management”, “technical 24/7 online support”, “student well-being”, and further “filtering and blocking software”. The software is regularly updated and current, designed to work with the school support workers who can act quickly to any problems, this can even cover bullying and mental health issues.

This is a 100% work-from-home opportunity, there will be a need on occasion to spend one day a month at the company regional office in the UK, hotel (if required) and all travel expenses will be paid. A laptop, phone, and CRM will also be provided to allow you to effectively work from home.

Support will be at hand from your regional manager who is there to offer practical support and guidance.

Hours of work are Monday to Thursday 8.00 am – 4.30 pm. Finish early Fridays 8.00 am – 3.30 pm

The salary is up to £35,000 basic (depending on relevant experience) with a good commission structure.

Expectations and targets are realistic and practical.

The ideal candidate will have experience working from home before, be organised and focused, with a friendly and professional manner. have sales ability that is consultative in its delivery.
