Recruitment National Business Development Manager
This is a position for an experienced education recruiter to step into a national senior business development manager role.
This role will be working for an established teacher supply agency with branches across the UK including several overseas offices.
This role is born out of necessity. At present the agency has multiple services that run alongside their teacher recruitment business, they need somebody to gel, consolidate, and package the various services they provide and be able to confidently present them to new and existing clients.
Your approach will be consultative with new and existing clients, you will analyse pockets of opportunity whilst demonstrating the benefits to the client.
As this is a senior position you will work closely with the CEO, senior managers, branch managers, and senior consultants to bring all the variable parts of the business together which will help to organise and package all the offerings the agency can provide.
The clients you will be dealing with will be at senior management level, you will be opening the doors to new business opportunities with new clients or existing clients.
Some of the areas you will be covering will include:
Training course covering Teaching Assistants and Cover Supervisors.
- Level 2 Certificate in Special Education Needs and Disability
- Level 3 Award in Education and Training
- Level 3 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools
- Level 4 Certificate for Higher-Level Teaching Assistants
- Level 5 Certificate in Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL)
- PGCE with QTS with international and independent schools. Certificates in mental health, wellbeing, functional skills in English and Maths, QTS in apprenticeship.
This agency is a leading provider of Tutors across the whole of the UK through the NTP program and has trained and registered 1000’s of candidates giving the agency a deep pool of candidates that can be supplied into classrooms and home settings.
Part of your role will be to advise on what funding and grants are available including any Levy schemes and how to apply for them.
You will offer a complete package to a client including liaising with local businesses acting as a sponsor for the training they provide.
All the above is being run separately or partly together, you will be the advocate for a complete package to the schools, academies, trust, MAT’s and local authorities you will be working with.
You will have the scope to work nationally and with a branch in each major city across the UK, the potential is massive.
You must have a keen eye for detail and opportunity, a huge amount of business is already there to be tapped into with clients the agency is already working with. This role needs somebody who is adept at working with senior management, somebody with a high business development drive, and who can lead from the front on a national basis

This role is hybrid offering 3 days in the office and two working from home. You can work out of the closest office to your home for ease or any of the others dotted around the country.
There will be an attractive package on offer that will take into account your current basic salary and overall OTE. The basic is up to £70,000 basic however this can be negotiated if your experience and current earnings can justify going beyond this
