We are recruiting for a Special Educational Needs Recruitment Consultant (SEN) to take over a warm desk for a leading Teaher recruitment agency based in London.
We are recruiting for an SEN Education Recruitment Consultant that will be supplying Primary, Secondary Schools and Pupil Referral Units (PRU’s) with specialist Teachers and support staff to select boroughs through the homes counties and London.
You will have a very warm desk in excess of 200 days with some very loyal client and Teachers. The reason the desk is warm is because it is part of a larger desk that needs to be split to service it properly.
As an SEN Education Recruitment Consultant your role will involve advertising, interviewing and vetting Teachers, School and PRU visits, business development calls and attending SEN seminars and other organised events which are held in various locations throughout the UK.
The Teachers you supply will help teach pupils with various special needs, these needs can be either single or multiple and can derive from Mental Health issues, Medical issues, behavioural issues and Developmental issues.
The trusting bonds you must build with the Schools and PRU’s that you supply are incredible important and it’s absolutely imperative that the Teachers and support staff you supply are qualified, have the experience required and like you, are completely committed.
It’s often the case with SEN pupils that they can become unsettled with unfamiliar faces which you must bear in mind when supplying Teachers. This can offer longevity to your placements as the Schools and PRU’s will be inclined to keep your Teachers so as not to unsettle the pupils.
You will be working for an established agency and with a Branch Manager that will offer support, guidance and the opportunity to progress you career through training, development and promotion.
The working environment is purposefully a none “micro-managed” one, you will have the flexibility to run your own desk, KPI’s are geared towards the branch as a whole thus creating a “team environment” with a healthy work/home life balance that is wholeheartedly encouraged.
Social and team bonding events are held regularly however these events are optional and usually held during the week so not to impact on your precious weekends!
